Do aspiring air force air traffic controllers have to go through the same boot camp/basic training? – Saul Roth

Of course.

No matter what job you do in the Air Force you have to go to the same basic training as all other Airmen.

If you don’t want to go to basic training then become an officer and go to Officer Candidate School  (OCS).

If you want to be an officer without going to OCS then become a medical doctor.

I believe they go to a class for a couple of weeks.
