I have not counted but would assume the USAF would have more aircraft than the US Navy. More aircraft means more chances to fly.
As far as travel you will be a pilot. You just don’t stay at the fixed base all the time.
As for living conditions would you rather be in a small room on an aircraft carrier or nice off base housing in a nice town or city?
I would apply for Navy and the USAF academies and take which ever one accepts you.
You must be an officer to be a pilot in the Air Force or the Navy.
I believe Warrant Officer fly choppers in the Army.
You must get your college degree!
